The average weekly working hours in Poland are 40 hours and 8 hours a day.
Breaks
If working hours are more than 6 hours, you are entitled to 15 minutes break.
The lunch break is regulated by employer or collective agreement.
Minimum wage
Since 1st July 2023, the minimum hourly wage for workers in Poland has been 23,50 zł gross.
Minimum wage since 1st July 2023 for workers with a working contract is 3600 zł gross per monthly.
However, you will only get this amount if you sign a work contract based on the Polish Labour Code.

Seasonal work
There is no minimal wage when you work as seasonal worker in agriculture in Poland. The average pay for a seasonal worker is approximately 7-10 zł gross/hour. You can work up to 180 days a year as a seasonal worker.
Piecework
Piecework is allowed in Poland. Remember to write down the quantity of the crops. Only this way you can document and check out how much you should earn.
The net amount is paid into your bank account.
